Designed with the installer in mind, these high performance small form factor motion detectors offer a trouble-free, out of the box experience to simplify the install process and reduce install time. With the passive DUAL TEC DT8035 and DT8050, optimum performance is achieved using custom developed extended range Fresnel optics, look down, cover and wall tamper, and selectable pet immunity. Leading edge sensing technologies and a wide range of models to suit the requirements of most applications, Honeywell’s family of DT8000 motion detectors will maximize intruder detection while diminishing false alarms.

Designed for high security commercial indoor environments and large residences, the new DT8050A detectors with anti-masking technology quickly detect intentional and accidental masks or attempts to block the detector, ensuring a trouble condition is immediately sent to the control panel. Anti-masking technology combined with Honeywell patented sensing technologies, high quality mirror optics and microprocessor-based DualCore signal processing, will improve catch performance and reduce false alarm and trouble conditions.<br>
Beneath the two-piece, easy-open enclosure, installers will find easy access to the wiring terminal and built-in features which simplify the installation experience and reduce installation time. Furthermore, the new detectors come equipped with integrated EOL resistors with easy selectable DIP switches and enhanced flash light walk test which reduce time and trips up and down the ladder.<br>
With the DT8050A and DT8050M, optimum performance is achieved using X-Band microwave technology and precision quality mirror-based optics for exceptionally high detection sensitivity and false alarm immunity.<br>
